SAT in Ghana: Common Questions
Where can I take the SAT in Ghana?
The SAT is offered at approved test centers, and the list changes by test date. Use the test center search on the College Board website when you register to see current locations and dates near you.
How do I pay for the SAT from Ghana?
You pay when you register on the College Board website. Accepted payment methods and fees are listed in College Board's international registration section, so check there before you register, and confirm with your bank that your card works for online international payments.
Can I get an SAT fee waiver in Ghana?
Usually not. College Board's rules say that outside the US, fee waivers are only for eligible US citizens living abroad. Check College Board's fee pages for the current fees, and ask your school counselor whether any other support is available.
Do I still need to take WASSCE?
Yes, the SAT is separate. Many students prepare for both, and the SAT is an extra route to US universities. Our sessions are scheduled around your school and exam calendar.
